    Default Translation Help

    Hi,
I was asked if I could try to translate this by someone, it was on a plaque while they waited for their bus on holiday in Spain.

    PLAZA DE ESPAÑA
AYAMONTE SIEMPRE SE DISTINGUIÓ POR LA DEFENSA QUE HIZO DE LA NACIÓN ESPAÑOLA, POR LO QUE MERCIÓ EL TÍTULO DE MUY NOBLE Y LEAL CIUDAD, EN EL AÑO 1664.

    I've come up with:

    Spanish Square
Ayamonte always distinguished for the defence he did for the nation of Spain, therefore trade title very noble and loyal city, in the year 1664.

    Help and corrections, please

    Smile Re: Translation Help

Ayamonte was always distinguished for her defense to the Spaniard Nation and for this reason it was honored with the title of noble and loyal city in 1664.
