I was wondering if you can tell me whether it is the same to say business language or the language of business.

I suspect it depends on the context but I do not believe they are exactly the same.

Business language refers to specific terms that have specific denfintions in reference to a specifed business.

The language of business is a more general term referring to terminology commonly used in business interactions.

I agree completely with Joel. Depending on the context they can mean the same in a general sense. Ex: "This convention was a strictly serious affair in which attendees spoke only business language (or the language of business) for an entire week.

As Joel points out, if you are speaking of things that are specific to a particular product, like the unigue specifications of a television set or car for instance, then that is business jargon or language.

If you are speaking in a broader sense about business in general and how it is conducted then you are speaking the language of business.

That's my humble attempt to help expand what Joel has said.
