Default Lifestyle Stores and Non-lifestyle Stores

Hi!! Last week I was translating a text about the different parts of a mall and I came across the expression "Lifestyle Stores and Non-lifestyle Stores". I tried to look up its meaning, but I couldn't find any appropriate translation in Spanish. Could anyone tell me the Spanish term for this expression??

Hi Bel,
Lifestyle is "Estilo de Vida", so Lifestyle Stores can be:
Tiendas de Estilo de Vida
Almacenes de Estilo de Vida

Maybe another more experienced member has better input?

Hi there! I think that this may relate to this definition: http://www.answers.com/topic/lifesty...nd?cat=biz-fin.

In this case, I may suggest "tiendas/locales de primera marca/de marcas reconocidas/de marcas de lujo", depending on the context. Perhaps, if you provide examples of the stores included within each category (or a more specific context) we could provide a more accurate answer.

I am not sure about "non-lifestyle stores"... I don't think adding "no" before the other options would help because I assume doing so would mean giving a negative connotation to these stores. Perhaps, "tiendas de marcas exclusivas".

In any case, could you provide more context, please? Then I will be able to confirm if my options are right...

Hope it helps!

Thanks for the two reply messages.

Actually, the part where I found the above mentioned phrase was talking about how to clean one part of the building; it said: "Dry buff Sales Floor (NON - LIFESTYLE ONLY) with electric buffer only. This is not performed in Lifestyle Stores."

Hope this would answer your question, Guadalupe.

Thanks again
