How much is in centimeters to measure 5-8? I don´t understand the equivalence from centimeters to.......what? And.........another question.... If I want to say a passenger "¿Podría ponerme la maleta con un asa hacia arriba? (para facilitar el trabajo de etiquetarla en un aeropuerto). How can I say it?? Thanks!! |

Hi,
First to convert feet and inches to centimeters you convert the feet into inches and add the remainder (5-8 = 60 inches (5x12) + 8 inches or 68 inches). Each inch equal 2.54 centimeters so 68 inches = 172.72 centemeters. Here is a link to a conversion table. http://www.onlineconversion.com/length_common.htm Second you can say; "Please put your suitcase down with the handle up (to make it easier for the ticket agent in the airport). Joel
