Post Honored and Profound words? Help!

    Hi all!
    I'm a rookie here!
I work on our school's Newsletter and Always do the Spanish Translations. And sometimes I get stuck!
So I tend to ask my "advisors" (remember Transformers?!) and sometimes even they can't help!
How do you translate "honored"? ie. I've been honored to serve you all.
Ditto for "profound words"? ie. I wish I had some profound words for you at this time....
    Thanks Yall!!!
PS This translation is due in a couple hours!!!

Hello Dragona! Welcome to the forum!
I've been honored to serve you all.
    He tenido el honor...

I was honored: Tuve el honor

I wish I had some profound words for you at this time....
...palabras profundas... can do. There are other ways to put this but it will depend on the context.

    Hope this helps!

    Smile Thanks Sandra!

I had used "me siento dichoso" as a 'if all esle fails' translation!

And I did use "palabras profundas" in the transltion, I'm glad I wasn't off!
The entire sentence actually read "I wish I had some profound words for you at this time, but instead, I'll only say 'thank you'.

    Thanks Sandra!!

    You're welcome, Dragona!
If you say "me siento dichoso" it would be the translation for "I feel lucky". "Honored" is really a more "profound word".
