digo yo :¿por qué se llaman "medias lunas " si no lo son? Pues es verdad, de media luna (la forma) no tienen nada. Pero no, vicente, no me equivoco, en España se llaman así.

Dinner rolls son de pan. Las medias noches en España se comen mucho rellenas de jamón york. Son algo dulces y de pan (más bien es de bollería) muy blandito.

En España lo otros se llama "croissant", por cierto, se admite en la RAE, la ortografía cruasán (!!)

En Argentina no se usa mucho el término croissant/cruasán, algunos lo usan pero es 95% más común escuchar "medias lunas". Esos pancitos a los que ustedes llaman medias lunas no tengo ni idea cómo los llaman en Argentina... ¿alguien sabe?

Pues aquí en Cuba y supongo lo hayan introducido los españoles , las medias lunas son como sandwiches pero con un pan más suave, redondo, nada que ver con una media luna, en realidad. Y a los croissants se les dice así mismo.
