Default Culture shock

Hello, you all:

Does anyone know how to translate "culture shock"? I've tried "impacto cultural" or "choque cultural", but am not so sure this terms are widely used in Spanish. I thank you all in advance for your help.

Saludos

Hi CarlosRoberto!

I've seen it as "shock cultural" or "Impacto cultural" sounds good. In Argentina "shock" is a word very much used.

Hope it helps!

O sea, ¡CHOCAN! jaja.

hope it helps.

Culture shock is the psychological discomfort you may feel when you attempt to adjust to a new cultural situation.
