Default "Teacher Spanish"

Could anyone give some advice with how best to translate the word "slip" in phrases such as "detention slip," "permission slip," "referral slip," etc. It's not "aviso"; not "anuncio," and saying "hoja de..." doesn't do it for me. Thanks. JM

There are many possibilities:

nota de...
carta de...
boleta de...
talón de...
hoja de...

Hope it helps!

I have been looking for a spanish-english glossary for educational topics. A collection of sources for translating diplomas, syllabi, things like the above, etc. but have had no luck. Any ideas?

Hi justinb!
I have a couple of Word files in my PC with vocabulary about Diplomas, certificates and documents. Interested? I can send them to you. Just let me know.

Best regards,
