Vicente, I never intended to change the name of the United States, it's just that here, in México, some publishers prefer to drop the "los" from the name in Spanish because they "feel" it sounds better, you know, in Spanish we're always trying things to "sound" nice (eufonía, the Real Academia would say), and it has nothing to do with the political status or the way we think of the United States. That's why I got used to dropping the "los" from the name. It's just that. Saludos |
