Hola chicos,
No puede encontrar la traduccion para come off: este es el contexto: TAURUS - The Enduring One. Charming but aggressive. Can come off as boring, but they are not. as boring means when they get bored? |

Mi propuesta sería
"Pueden dar la impresión de ser aburridos, pero no lo son" Saludos

Yes, Hebe is correct. It is saying that people born under the sign of Taurus appear to be boring, but they are not. The odd thing is that the quality of "boring" is purely subjective for the audience, so if someone appears to be boring, then they are, in fact, boring. There's just no way of getting around that.

Necesito ayudo yo
"Pueden dar la impresión de ser aburridos, pero no lo son" My interpretation of this sentence is: "They can give the impression that they are bored but they are not" ¿Me equivoco? To come off as boring means that someone is a boring person. How do you say a person is boring? How would we say that a person is bored? Gracias! vicente |

That´s rights Scott - beauty is in the eye of the beholder and boredom is in the eyes of recipients /receptors
Vicente when soneone is boring _ that person es abburrido (a) when someone feels bored _ that person está (o se siente) aburrido (a) Hope it helps
