    Default Blue water

I would appreciate if someone can tell me the meaning of "blue water". The text where this expression appears is about a military matter. It says that USA government is not afraid of the Chinese navy, because bla bla bla...... Thenks in advance

    Default blue water

Hello! This may help to understand the context:
    http://www.ser2000.org.ar/articulos-...10/mariano.htm

    Cheers!

I agree with Marlene: blue water is "en alta mar".......far away from the coast.....I hope this will help you!!!!

Yep, I agree... "en alta mar" it's a good option, and I think "mar abierto" could also work.

    Suerte.
