    Default "marked for life"

Hi there! I want to translate the expression "marked for life" to Spanish. Anyone who could give me a hand with that?

    marcado/a de por vida
    marcado/a para toda la vida

    Hope it helps!

You can use either. There's no difference.

    hi kristine,
be careful! we don't say "marcado por vida", that doesn't mean anything. it's either "de por vida" or "para toda la vida", as sandraT first wrote. both expressions mean the same. also notice the o/a options, and bear that in mind if you refer to either male or female (even more, you would need "marcados/as" if the marked are more than one...)
