I was trying to tell my Spanish friend that his cell phone never works, it always disconnects when I call. He replied with the following:

no entiendo que quieres decirme solo quiero decirles que mi telefono no esta funcionando muy bien solo quiero decirles que las estra�amos mucho at gabriel

I know he said he doesn't understand something, but I can't translate the rest on my normal translator. Some words (estranamos as an example) will not translate.... can anyone help? Thanks so much!

I don't understand what you are trying to tell me. I just want to say my phone is not working all right and that we miss you (plural) very much.

I think you must try other ways to communicate with your friend, at least until he fixes his phone problem.

...and your translator does not translate that word cause the right word is with an X, that is, extra�amos.

wow, my online translator is terrible, that's not at all what I got as the translation! Thanks so much for your help, Spanish is so hard to learn. I am going to sign up to a course!

it translated to me as:

I do not understand that you want to say to me only want to say to them that my phone is not working very well only want to say to them that the estra�amos many at gabriel

Hi krispity6! Translations done by an internet application are very unreliable, human translators are always needed to interpret the text. Taking a Spanish class would be really helpful! If you are interested in this subject, here is a thread that might be interesting for you!

I think that the right translation is:

I don�t understand what you are trying to tell me I only want to tell you is that my phone is not working very well I only want to tell you that we miss you very much (or a lot) at gabriel
