We correspond with someone in Nicaragua and the Spanish translation software we use does not seem to grasp many of the words. Does anyone know of a site or program specific to Nicaraguan Spanish (idiomatic) or can you help with the translation below, please:

"como estan espero que esten bien de salud los amo mucho espero queDios le ayuden en lo bueno y en lo malo ustedes son mis padres y grasia por apoyarme en mi clases que Dios siempre lesbendiga estoy muy cotento porque estoy estrudiando ingle estoy feliz porque se en quien poedo confiar grasia poprtodo los amo mucho cotodo mi corazo ledeso muchas bendisione ok los amo para mi padres con amor y cari�o lo amo cotodo mi corazo espero berlo este a�o por quiero contir mi amor co ustedes lo amo"

As for good sites for Nicaraguan spanish, just try some simple internet searches and see what comes up, but we are happy to help here in the forum!

I so appreciate your help, sarab! The Spanish translation software was able to recognize very little of this text and it is great to read the real message.

We are using a combination of "Easy Translator" software and Google Translator (Online). Do you have better suggestion for the more local, dialectic, Nicaraguan Spanish?

What happens in this letter is that many of this words are misspelled for example:

grasia = gracias, cotento = contento, poedo = puedo, and many others....

any software can't traduce correctly

Moyses: I can't understand the phrase any software can't traduce correctly... (be careful! the English for "traducir" is "translate", ok?)

Check the Webster's dictionary:
Traduce
Verb
1. Speak unfavorably about; "She badmouthes her husband everywhere".
(Spanish = vituperar, difamar)
