I'm writing a letter to my cousin in El Salvador, and dont know how to translate the word "degree", as in "college degree". Please help (thanks).
Here is my sentence: I'm very happy to hear that you want to get a degree. |

Hm, I am also curious. Does it depend on what kind of degree they want to receive? Would you say, "queres recibir en..."?
Ideas? |

But seeker50's proposal is ok,
"Me satisface escuchar que quieres obtener un título", now you can add...en medicina, en educación, or something like that. Of course if you know what the degree is on and want a better translation, you have to be more specific.
