Siempre se refleja desde ´abajo ´(bottom, literal).
Siempre se refleja desde el ´comienzo´(bottom = beginning)

En "el club de los poetas muertos" lo traducen por "Aprovecha el momento"
Tiene una connotación más bien trascendental que proverbial. Es algo así: vive el momento porque el pasado se ha ido y el futuro está ausente. Ell presente es lo único que tenemos.
