get yourself hyped
Hi guys! I hope you could help me figure out the meaning of the phrase "get yourself hyped" in the sentence "Establish the right mindset beforehand. Get yourself hyped for the interview". It appears in a text that gives advice on job interviews.
I tried to translate it to Spanish but I just can't find an equivalent for this expression.:(

Re: get yourself hyped
It means that you have to create good expectations and be enthusiastic about it.
The closest translation that I can think of right now is "emocionarse", but it's not the best. Let me think a bit harder.

Re: get yourself hyped
How about "¡Encárala con entusiasmo!" I'm afraid you will need to be a bit creative instead of seeking something more literal.

Re: get yourself hyped
What about: "Preparáte con la actitud correcta y el entusiasmo para la entrevista!"

Re: get yourself hyped
Yes, iyuanobi's option of merging the sentences will work too. They are both in imperative mode saying what to do and a complex sentence in Spanish won't bother.
