Need advice on how to wish my musician friend from Argentina good luck

My friend from Argentina has an upcoming concert and I'd like to wish him good luck. In the United States, I would say "Break a leg", but I doubt that would translate very well. So I was thinking I'd say something like: "Sending you good vibes".

How would I say "Sending you good vibes" in Spanish? Any other suggestions on how to wish a performer from Argentina good luck (without jinxing them)? Is there something equivalent to the expression "break a leg"?

Well, I don't know if there is a specific phrase to wish a performer good luck, but there is a very informal phrase you could use: "¡Mucha mierda!" or ¡Mucha, mucha mierda!" You could call it slang, but "mierda" is used on an everyday basis, so maybe it fits.
Otherwise you could just say: "¡Mucha suerte!" but if it's a friend of yours, I think the first expression is best.

I've heard "Mucha Merde" too, that's "franish" (mix of French and English), but I think it's pretty popular in Buenos Aires.

I would go with a simple "Mucha suerte!" (good luck) or "Mucho éxito!" (wish you success).
I didn´t know that "mucha mierda" is used for good wishes as literally it means a lot of shits... XD let´s play the safe one.
The translation of "sending you good vibes" would be: "Mis mejores deseos para vos!"

You can use expressiones with "mierda" or "merde" and you can also translate the English expression to Argentinian Spanish: "rompete una pierna". It's not the most common, but some people will understand the joke and the reference to the Anglosaxon culture.

I think you can just say "el mejor de los éxitos".

Normally, expressions such as break a leg or beacuoup de merde have a historical background and there's some sort of taboo around them. In Argentina, we don't have these - or at least not that I'm aware of - so any expression wishing good luck would be okay.

Advertising and politics aside, I saw the other day a book about theater and acting. Its title is "Molta merda". That wish works in Spanish and Catalan.

I use to say to my artist friends here in Baires.
It means, I send you the best vibes!. Not Common, just my use.
