Default to have it out of us

Hola. ¿Cómo se traduce "to have it out of us" en el texto siguiente?:
They see me apparently on equal terms with those who dine off silver and gold, and call all the upper ten thousand friends, and some of them relations, and they rush to conclusions.
If I cared much for their heavy repasts, or their insufferable time-serving, I should fear for my future; but both are growing wearisome.
Give me the rather impertinent, ugly, vulgar Lady Mary, who calling me, as is her pleasant habit, by my christian-name, will say:
"I always knew you meant to have it out of us, Stafford, but it is of no use. Till we can produce an author -not an outsider- not one like you, introduced by accident and tolerated on sufferance- the English public will not understand the demerits of the nobility."

Este texto procede de la novela The haunted house at Latchford, publicada en 1872.
    Gracias por la ayuda.

    Voy a responder en ingés.

I think think Lady Mary is saying that she always knew that Stafford, as an author, intended to use his position within English nobility in order to write about them and she does not think he is capable. In this context "to have it out of us" could be written as "to get it out of us" or "to use us" , and appears to me to mean, to exploit his connections to the nobility in writing about them.

I prefer [I] "to use us"

    aprovechar ? abusar?

I think aprovechar or sacar provecho are the most suitable options; abusar is more limited (for example, it works well with confianza o amabilidad).

I agree with vicente. Sacar provecho de nuestras conexiones would work as well and sounds less agressive.
