    Default "Would off" translation

    Hi everyone!
I am trying to translate a text into Spanish and I have some difficulties with this sentence:

"If I thought I could get away with it, I would off Mr Wright and present the book as my own."

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thank you!

In the U.S., to "off" somebody is a slang term meaning to kill them.
