Default Spanish Translation For Self-Made Game (Spn-Eng)

Hi everyone, I'm in my first year of Spanish at my middle school, and I have a project where I have to translate my own self made gameboard into english. Right now, i have constructed the rules, and have started translating; but i want to ask if they're close to being correct ^_^. If they're unaccurate, could anyone please make the corrections and post a new translation? Thanks

    English:

    Rules

    Starting Out

    1. Each player chooses a token to represent themselves on the game board. The tokens are placed in the starting area in the United States.

    2. Each player rolls one dice. The person with the highest roll will start first. The next highest roll will go second, etc. It is very important that each player remembers the order.

    Movement

    1. Each player rolls one dice and moves the amount of spaces indicated by the dice.

    2. If a roll is one, that player moves back one space.

    Special Spaces

If the player fails to answer the question, he or she will move back two spaces. If the player correctly answers the question, he or she will move forward by the amount indicated by the stars on the cards. It is necessary that the players place the used card out of the game.

    2. If a player lands on a space marked by a taco, he or she must pick up a Cultural Question card and answer the question. If the player failed to answer the question, he or she will move back two spaces. If the player correctly answered the question, he or she will move forward by the amount indicated by the stars on the cards. It is necessary that the players place the used card out of the game.

    3. When a player lands on a special dot, they may choose to swap the places of any two players on the board.

    Default roll, forward

    Default

I think the translation made by Cholmondely is very good.

But I would only change the word "Espacios" with the word "casillas". This word is more apropiate in these cases.

And, in movements, at point 1 and 2 I would replace "...Si el jugador no contesta la pregunta, retrocederá..." by "...Si el jugador no contesta correctamente la pregunta, retrocederá...". And at point 3, I'd replace "...puede elegir cambiar los lugares de dos jugadores..." by "...puede intercambiar las posiciones de otros dos jugadores..."

I hope it may be useful for you.

    Regards.
