    Depende. Tiene varias definiciones danield. It's a verb (to retreat= to withdraw, run away, flee) and a noun (a place to rest, relax, a sort of vacation place or home) and "on retreat" is a phrase meaning to go away for a gathering, for example as a church group. Que es el contexto?

    Era un quizz de palabras en ingles, no tenia contexto, pero el significado, que fallé por cierto, era "relax". Gracias ya me quedo mas claro.

    We actually pay for both (work and relaxation). The proportion between the two is probably the subject of many discussions. :-)
