Thread: Help with a word

Hi everyone! I was reading "What We Talk About When We Talk About Love, by Raymond Carver" and I got stuck with a word, it doesn’t add anything relevant to the story line or even the paragraph (it's easy to grasp the general meaning) but I would really like to know what it means.

"That morning she pours Teacher's over my belly and licks it off […]”


I know what “teacher” means but obviously this isn’t the case, if it was it would be really awkward haha XD.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it, if not it’s not that important anyway.

Sounds like a product name, such as Teacher's Whiskey (150 gram whiskey-filled chocolates).

Yeah I assumed it was the name of a liquid product but I didn’t know which one.
