    Default Individuals strive to live...

    How would you translate:

Individuals strive to live within a unique band in which he or she can cope adecquately.

All versions welcomed. Thanks in advance.

I think you can translate this way:

Los individuos nos esforzamos por vivir dentro de una banda ˙nica en la que Úl o ella puedan hacer frente adecuadamente/debidamente.

    Hope it helps.

I' d rather go for "grupo" instead of "banda". And I'd change the indirect complement "nos" for "se" and omit the personal pronouns "el-ella".

Los individuos se esfuerzan por vivir dentro de un grupo ¨nico en el que puedan hacer ......

However, there is something missing in the sentence: "cope adecquately". Cope what with? isn't there an indirect object missing?

First of all, I meant "DIRECT OBJECT AND NOT INDIRECT FOR COPE"
Salvador, surely it must have to do with life!
