hola! tengo que traducir esta frase para una clase. "se llevará el gato al agua". Entiendo que dice literalmente, pero es forma de decir algo differente? porque esta es la oracion entero: Ambas compiten en delgadez y en elevados precios, aunque todo apunta a que el LCD se llevará el gato al agua gracias a su fabricación masiva para monitores de ordenador. Entonces, cree que es un dicho porque no tiene nada que hacer el resto. Por favor, me ayuden!!

The phrase in this context means "to beat competitors", "to win by far" (semantic translation)

Es muy dificil bañar a un gato, los gatos hacen toda clase de cosas para
no ser bañados (to take a bath). Cuando alguna persona logra bañar a su gato se dice que es el VENCEDOR. Think about it.... |
