Thread: Can someone who is fluent and/or a native Spanish speaker please help me?

I'm new here, and I'm doing a favor for my friend. She needs to translate a letter from English to Spanish, and she needs it done ASAP. Since I am definitely not fluent in Spanish, although I do know a little, I was wondering if someone could please translate it for me? I *'d out some things to protect my friend's identity and who she is writing to, lol.
Anyway, here is her letter:


Dear ***,

My name is ***, I am 18 years-old, and I am a huge *** fan and basketball fan. I only know a little Spanish, but I am going to try to write this whole thing in Spanish. You are one of my favorite players. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoy watching you play, and I am happy that you have earned a spot in the rotation. I read about how awhile ago you were struggling with playing time and wanted to be able to help the team more noticeably, and I definitely think you have improved and helped a lot. By watching you never give up and try your best to contribute to the team with the time you are given, you have inspired me. You have taught me to stay positive and keep trying to reach my goals, even when I get frustrated or feel like giving up. I am so glad you are a *** and hope you stay here for a long time, if you are happy here. Thank you for making the games more exciting and entertaining and for being a role model to me. You seem like such a nice person who is very dedicated to his team. Well, thank you for reading this, I just wanted to let you know that you are a very important part to the *** and us fans really appreciate you. Good luck with the rest of your promising career.
