Red face Need help with a word

    Hello!

Well, this is my first post - I'm new on this forum and I hope you guys would help me.

Alright, I'am searching after the word "burnt" which is the past word of burn which is fuego in spanish but what will it be in past ?

I'am trying to fit this word in this sentence:

El familia que vivieron en la casa es muy apenado porque el casa ~ (burnt).

    Regards.

    Hi.
The right meaning of burn is "incendio", like a noun, or "incendiar" if its used like a verb. The word "fuego" means fire. So your sentence will be something like this in spanish :

La familia que vivía en la casa está muy apenada porque su hogar se incendió.
    Hope this helps.
