Of course! Otherwise, the other language native speaker won't understand the message.
In Argentina I've come to know Día de Acción de Gracias, Día de los Veteranos, Día de los trabajadores and día de brujas as the respective, Thanksgiving, Veterans day, Labor Day and Halloween.
Memorial Day is one I've haven't heard the translation yet.
Answering your question, I do think that translating them is correct.
Maybe in some cases it doens't go both ways, like specific named Holidays, such as: La Toussaint
I think you should be careful,
e.g. Labor Day = early September
if you translate this to día del trabajo or in French to Fête du travail you are talking about the 1st of May...
May be wise to mention the English denomination together with a possible translation.

The webpage I am translating is going to be used in the US. Leaving them in English might be the best option to avoid mistakes such as the one pointed out by Mr. Frank.
