English to Spanish Technical Translation - Does anyone know how to say Ratio Gear?

Necesito ayuda con "Ratio Gear". ¿Alguien sabe como decirlo en ingles?
Es un engrane usado en un toma de fuerza (una toma de fuerza es un tipo
de caja de engranes montado a una transmision de un camion para accionar una bomba hidraulica).

¿ No se si engrane de relación es correcto?

¡Gracias!

on parole vs on probation

English to Spanish Legal Translation - Hi Guys

This is the difference i found between parole and probation. Do you agree, if so, what would the translation of on parole be ?
Thank you very much.

Parole should not be confused with probation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probation), as parole is serving the remainder of a sentence outside of prison, where probation is given instead of a prison sentence and as such, tends to place more rigid obligations upon the individual serving the term.
Trados - Hola: es la primera vez que escribo aquí y desde ya agradezco las respuestas.
Desde hace un tiempo, cuando cierro un documento word, me pregunta si quiero actualizar el documento TRADOSx.dot, o sea, una plantilla que ni siquiera sabía que existiera.
Por una parte, no sé qué decir, pero por las dudas contesto que sí. Por otra, noto que no aparecen unidades de traducción que sé que deberían estar incorporadas.
Saludos

What's "turnips" in Spanish??? :o)

General English to Spanish Translation - Hello, I only have one little question:

Does the English "turnip" mean "rabano" in Spanish? I just bought one to try it and it smells like a rabano which I used to grate and mix in to the salads back in Argentina, but I don't recall seeing there the "turnips"...

Asking a woman at the market, she said to cook it, but we never cooked the rabanos.

Very grateful for a clarification please?

Un millon de gracias!

General English to Spanish Translation - Hola, buenas. En la siguiente frase, ¿que se debería de usar "her" or "hers" (en negrita)?.

Particularmente me inclino por "hers" (pronombre posesivo)

"As I was walking along the street, I saw how she was having her breakfast in the restaurant. "I would like to have the same breakfast as hers", I thought. And after a few seconds, I was ordering that breakfast..."

Gracias. (Forum: General English to Spanish Translation)

Fencelets
The blown up ultrasonic data is displayed in a form called a called Fencelet. Each recognition consists of a number of “hits” from one or more ultrasonic channels. The spatial transformation done on the data aligns multiple channels causing them to overlap and sometimes hide the details of a cluster of hits. Blowing up the same area offers the operator a better opportunity to actually see what channels hit and even count the number of hits from individual channels.
