Greetings,
I'm looking for the best term for "compliance," which is a term used in English for the ratio of unrecovered strain (deformación no recuperada) to applied stress (shear stress, or fuerza cortante in this case). I have a "Diccionario para Ingenieros" that suggests the term "deformación" for compliance, but this is an old reference and the testing used to determine compliance is relatively new. How about "flexibilidad" or "distensibilidad"?
