Default Technical Bilingual Dictionaries

Can anyone recommend a good English-Spanish Technical Dictionary? I still have the old white cover book we used at College...I´ll tell you the name tomorrow...I can´t remember now...
Any contribution is appreciated!

I think the 'Diccionario Enciclopédico de Términos Técnicos Inglés-Español, Español Inglés' written by Javier L. Collazo, published by McGraw-Hill is a good one. I have the sixteenth printing, 1996 but I don't know if there is a more recent one.

Another one I like is English Spanish Comprehensive Technical Dictionary by Lewis L. Sell, (195) but it has been out ot print for a number of years.

A very Happy New Year to you all

Eulalia

El mejor diccionario técnico (según mi opinión) es el Diccionario politécnico de las lenguas española e inglesa. Beigbeder Atienza. Publicado por Díaz de Santos. Se divide en dos tomos, español-inglés e inglés-español. Contiene cerca de 340 mil términos que abarcan disciplinas técnicas muy variadas.

Thanks, Eulalia!
And what about a reliable online dictionary or glossary?

Dear Nadia:

I don't know which is your favourite topic, but in my pet field (biochemistry, genetics and medicine) I have found very useful the glossaries presented in Panace@, especially the ones written by Verónica Saladrigas et al, and the notes of Fernando Navarro. El Escaparate de Med Trad, etc. There is a new cyber magazine about every three months and they are a great help

I know you will enjoy them

Eulalia

Lightbulb on line glosaries

There are many web sites available, according to the theme, for example for vehicles, for botanic terms, for, porks, etc, try searching with the word "latimer" (can't give you the web site 'coz the administrator does not allow, "susana cr", "bdsteel tripod", that'll help....CU

Hi, I'm new in the forum. You can find a good online technical dictionary by using the following link:

www.sapiensman.com/ESDictionary

Hope this will help.

Thanks.
