Hi! I would like to know the translation of "Homed". It means the "home" position of a motor. I see it in a text about a wood cutting machine. I though the translation could be "direccionado", but after that explanation, "Inicio" looked better, but I'm not sure about it.

Are you sure the term you are looking for is not "hoNed" ?

Hone (verb): to enlarge or finish (a hole) with a hone

Yes. In that context, "to home" translates as "volver a posición de inicio". I do not say "reiniciar" because in this case it involves PHYSICAL movement and, though "reiniciar" might be perfectly valid, nowadays it is understood as synonimous to "reboot" a PC
