Spanish Translation of Thread
Hello everyone,
could you please tell me how to translate "thread" into Spanish? The paragraph reads as "the screw has 1" diameter - 12 threads by inch". Could be "hilo"? "Filete"?  Last edited by IUS : 01-03-2007 at 08:34 PM. |

I would say roscas, this being plural because it is more than 1.

Dear People,
thank you all for your help. I guess that the best option in this case, is "filete". "Hilo" it is used too, according to my friend who is Mechanical Engineer. Kindest regards, Jack |
