en Chile se usa el termino " hilo".
.. y tambien "rosca", "filete". por lo que te recomedaria escoger un termino de acuerdo a lo mas usado en tu pais..(otra cosa, en el dciionario tecnico de Collazo se define como paso/thread count el "numero de filetes de rosca por unidad de longitud", inches en este caso. ojo el termino paso no seria tan exacto)
