    Default Anvil

    Good day

I am translating a pamphlet for sawmill machinery and I am not sure how to translate anvil

Logs are supported on a central horizontal steel anvil that incorporates a “V” type design grooved section between the last two modules near the chipping heads to assist log centering.

Would soporte be an adequate translation?

    Thank you.

Hi, "Soporte" can be an adequate translation, but I think that "Yunque" is more accurate.

    Hola Kane:

    Yunque

Hi analaura! From Kane's description...a V shaped design, it is not a traditional anvil as in your dibujo.
