Hola a todos

Tengo dificultad para traducir la palabra spiked en esta oración.

The positive control consisted for triplicate reactions containing negative control nucleic acid spiked with a known number of copies of the test article plasmid DNA.

Cualquier sugerencia sera bien recibida

Hola Carlos, transcribo la explicación del gran 'maestro' Dr. Navarro:

"En la jerga de laboratorio, to spike es añadir o agregar algo (p. ej.: una sustancia o un virus) a una muestra. El asunto se complica cuando en un texto encontramos el participio pasado, spiked, pues en inglés tanto puede hacer referencia a la propia muestra como a lo que se ha agregado a ella. Así, spiked sample puede ser la muestra enriquecida a la que hemos añadido algo (p. ej.: virus spiked sample, 'muestra a la que se han añadido virus"; bilirubin-spiked sample, 'muestra enriquecida con bilirrubina', pero spiked virus es al mismo tiempo el propio virus incorporado, o spiked substance, la sustancia añadida. Obsérvese que en el primer caso no cabe decir en español <<muestra adicionada>>, pues para nosotros 'muestra añadida' es la que se ha añadido algo, y no la que ha recibido algo.
