medical imagery
Hola a todos!
Estoy traduciendo un consentimiento informado de `medical imagery´. (Consent for the use of medical imagery- adults). Aunque la palabra 'imagery' nos lleva a la lìnea de terapias alternativas, en este caso se refiere concretamente a material audiovisual, fotos, grabaciones. Se me ocurrió traducir este título a 'Consentimiento para el uso de registros médicos audiovisuales en adultos'. Agradeceré la opinión o sugerencias del foro.  Favorita

It looks like "material audiovisual" may sound better than "registros médicos audiovisuales". I would like to read the whole paragraph to analyze the whole context. Good luck!

Hi Susana
I think that "pruebas de diagnóstico por imágenes" could fit, as the text doesn't suggest sounds, only images. According to the type of image being used, maybe the best thing would be to use "radiografía", ""ecografía", "gammagrafía". I hope this helps a little Eulalia |

In the case of this particular document, medical imagery referred to a 'multi-technological' array of tests, video and audio recording, etc.  Saludos from Buenos Aires.

Hola, para mi no significa nada más que la traducción literal de medical imagery lo que incluye además de diagnostico por imágenes, ilustraciones y esquemas

La pregunta es si el consentimiento se refiere a técnicas utilizadas para diagnóstico, como tomografía, resonancia, etc.
Si ese es el caso, concuerdo con Eulalia, y sería "Consentimiento informado para el uso de pruebas de diag. por imágenes en adultos".
