When I had to do medical translations, I used to take advantage of this helpful dictionary, but now it has changed a lot and the medical section was largely reduced or, better saying, I was not able to select it when I looked up words during the past months.

What do you think of the new Eurodicautom?

I'll check it for the features you're talking about and get back to you.

Don't mention it. I like the new layout and I'm pretty sure you can find the same words and expressions you did before. I'd say it just takes some time before you learn how to better weed through the categories.

What I mean is that the field of expertise "medicine" is reduced to a minimum in this new layout. And medical terms are absolutely specific.

I see. I have to admit to your being right... Maybe you should write them to let them know about it.

Hi Hancko. What I heard long time ago was that Euridicauton was changed into another platform with another name. The following is the new link:
    http://iate.europa.eu/iatediff/Searc...40?method=load

I hope it helps. Best regards

    Default Thanks!

    Thanks!

That's what I meant: the new platform.

Well, the new platform is more devoted to technical terms, while the old one was more devoted to medical terms.

    Thanks for your input!

I agree with you, Reminder. I think the dictionary has changed a lot and now is harder to find medical terms. It used to be easier to see references and sources before. I still use it, but sometimes I need to check with another dicitionaries and they're so difficult to find!
