The sentence I'm having problems with is the following one:

As H5N1 infections continue to have a high mortality rate, consider treatment even as late as 8 days after onset of symptoms, if there is evidence of ongoing viral replication

Como las infecciones de H5N1 contin�an teniendo un alto �ndice de mortalidad, hay que considerar el tratamiento incluso hasta 8 d�as luego de la aparici�n de los s�ntomas, si hay evidencia de replicaci�n viral progresiva.

I don't like two prepositions together. How can I resolve that problem? On the other hand, is "hasta" a good translation for "as late as"? Or should I change it for "aun"?

Me ayudarian una vez mas?

You can say "incluso hasta" and there is no problem. I
I would just like to add something regarding
"hay que considerar el tratamiento...
I think it is better if you write "hay que considerar la aplicaci�n del tratamiento" or "considere aplicar el tratamiento incluso hasta 8 d�as despu�s"

I would say: incluso hasta 8 d�as despu�s de la aparici�n

Depending on context, "hasta" can be used as "even" or "incluso" (�l fue tan amable conmigo, hasta me ofreci� su postre), or it can be used as "till" (Voy a estudiar hasta me vencer� el sue�o). I think in this case, if you want to conserve the style, you must use both incluso y hasta.

I must say Hekate that your use of incluso hasta are fine but the examples set can be �mproved.

In the second case you should use the subjunctive form for the verb:
Voy a estudiar hasta que me venza el sue�o.

In the first case you can also use hasta que...
in English is not like that but in Spanish you need to use it
El fue tan amable conmigo que hasta me ofreci� su postre... He was so nice to me (that) he even...
No descansamos hasta que terminamos el trabajo. We didn't rest until we finished...

Olv�dense de "incluso hasta". Es mal espa�ol, sobre todo escrito.
En el texto a traducir todo lo que se necesita es: ...considere aplicar tratamiento aun si han pasado ocho [o: aun pasados ocho] d�as desde el inicio de los s�ntomas...

Just one question: are there cases when you use "hasta" without "que"? for example, "Esto no est� tan mal. Estoy hasta alegre".

Of course both examples are fine.
You don't always have to use "hasta que",
"Me sali� tan bien que estoy hasta feliz." o "Me sali� muy bien. Estoy hasta feliz"
The "que" is used to link both sentences but you can as well, make two sentences and then you don't need to use "que".
