    Default Brand Equity

Any suggestions for this rather abstract phrase so common in the marketing world?

it refers to the value of a certain name brand, so I believe it could be translated as
    valor de marca

    Default Identidad de marca

Whenever you are dealing with marketing literature, "brand equity" should be translated as "identidad de marca" and it refers to the intrinsic and mostly intangible value of a well-known brand. In a financial context, it's considered an intangible asset difficult to measure in a Balance Sheet. In this case it could be translated as "activo de marca". It´s all about context!
