Good day everyone. I am hoping somebody can help me with translating a slogan into spanish. The company I work for has this slogan, "From Front Line to Bottom Line". I can translate this literaly to spanish but the translation has no meaning in latinamerican culture. I am trying to come up with something in spanish that conveys the same idea.
The Context: We make software to automate field worker tasks. In our slogan, "Frontline" refers to the frontline work force. These are the operators of the manufacturing plant. They operate the valves, pumps and motors of the plant. The "Bottom Line" refers to the savings in maintenance cost. Our software helps the plant workers save money in maintenance cost, thus, "From Frontline to Bottom Line". Any suggestions and ideas will be greatly appreciated. JP |

This is a very difficult slogan to be translated!! And I thought that I have problems with some legal terms that I am working on! LOL.
Being latina, I will say something like: *** (Company name) Le ayuda a sus trabajadores a economizar costos I don't know. Hope it will help a bit!Melissa |

Hi,
these are my suggestions: Resultados visibles Resultados visibles de principio a fin In both cases I emphasized the fact you are offering a product that will improve the bottom line of the company. At the same time I am playing with the word "resultados", since it can also refer to the software application you sell. In any case, if the tagline is going to be fairly visible I would recommend you invest in producing a detailed brief and hiring a copywriter. It won´t be that expensive. Good luck! JesusMaroto.com |

How about: mano de obra hasta el resultado económico
-does that sound snappy in spanish? I can't tell.

I like the word suggested by Hebe but I feel smth is missing. It is just too complicated for just two words or three... but automatización sounds just right but maybe adding smth................
Automatización, desde la creación (producción) hasta el mantenimiento... it does not convince me yet but it is more like the idea you want to offer.

Hi JP,
I´m new here and want to learn english from excelent translators here, as likewise contributing with my spanish language. Because my profession ,I have another position regarding your ask. "From Front Line to Bottom Line" is directed to financial target market with an economic sense and not automatization tasks. Since that point of view,I agree with Claudia when she say: "mano de obra hasta el resultado económico" but is necessary to adjust it a little more like: "Desde la Linea de Trabajo hasta la Ultima Línea". This is because "Bottom Line" or "Ultima Linea" is very known in the business world as Net Profits from Income Statement and this slogan need to receipt in economic sense and not process sense. I hope help you Best regards Mario
