    Hi, I need to know what the exact meaning of this verb is, and possible translation into Spanish. I don't think it can be translated as "mandar". Can it?

    I would translate it as "disposicion" or "disponer"

    Mandate means to to give an official order or make a law stating that something must be done.

    hacer algo una obligacíon
    hacer algo obligatorio

    Hi! I agree with you, people... In general, I prefer "disponer", but of course it depends on the context.
