    Question amendment

I am trying to translate amendment in the following context:
"Before leaving for the Commons, Andrew checked over an amendment he wanted to move in comitee that morning"

    ((Andrew is a MP))

    my attempt:
"Antes de dirigirse a la Cámara de los Comunes, Andrew revisó un proyecto de ley que quería presentar al comite esa mañana"

Please correct my version and give me your oppinions.

    Thanks!

Another option which is commonly used when referring to Laws is "Reforma" or in this case "Proyecto de Reforma"

    Hope it helps
