"Before leaving for the Commons, Andrew checked over an amendment he wanted to move in comitee that morning" ((Andrew is a MP)) my attempt: "Antes de dirigirse a la Cámara de los Comunes, Andrew revisó un proyecto de ley que quería presentar al comite esa mañana" Please correct my version and give me your oppinions. Thanks! Clarabe |

Another option which is commonly used when referring to Laws is "Reforma" or in this case "Proyecto de Reforma"
Hope it helps
