Default Certificado de Divorcio

Quisiera saber como traducir al Inglés las abreviaturas escritas en español (Ditvs. y Fetun) escritas en el certificado de divorcio ecuatoriano mostrado debajo:


CERTIFICO: Que la presente fotocopia es igual a su original que reposa en los archivos de la Jefatura Provincial; en el tomo 3 Drts. 5 Ditvs. ____ Página 214 Acta 605 Año 1996 Nac.: ___ Matri: _____ Fetun:___


No se si la abreviatura Drts. en Ecuador significa "Direcciones Regionales de Trabajo", si fuera asì, entonces la abreviatura "Divts." tal vez tendría alguna relación.

Hola Enrique,

La verdad, desconozco el significado de esas siglas...lo que podrías hacer es entrar en la página oficial del Registro Civil de Ecuador (no sé si ustedes lo llaman así) y fijarte la terminología que se usa para hablar de los matrimonios....o sino, fijate en la Ley de Matrimonios de tu país...haber que encontrás con respecto a la Inscripción de los matrimonios.Después de hacer esa investigación, seguro que vas a estar más orientado y hasta encontrás palabras claves que después podés ir googleando...Con respecto a cómo se traducen, ehhhh no sé podrías armar una traducción para esos términos y poner entre corchetes el significado...o hacer una nota de traductor para que no dificulte la fluidez de tu ttraducción.

Hola Enrique, no estoy segura que esto te vaya a ayudar pero "Drts”. y “Ditvs.", parecieran referirse a las secciones (capítulos, versículos, párrafos etc.,) en las que se encuentran subdivididos los Tomos.

En cuanto a “Fetun”, solo puedo deducir que si "Nac." y "Matri", es para especificar si se trata de un acta de nacimiento o matrimonio (pareciera que la persona debe seleccionar el tipo de documento con una tilde) , entonces Fetun podría referirse a un acta de defunción o de divorcio. But this is only a wild guess

Hola! A mi se me ocurre que "Fetun" podría ser "Fecha", pero no estoy segura... Seguiré investigando!


Aparentemente, DRTs podría referirse a Oficinas Regionales del Trabajo, tal como dice tu post.

I might be mistaken, but...

I think there's a mistake in "fetuN" it should be read as "fetuM" (fetus, -a, -um) and means the number of kids issued from the marriage.

This is only what I think it is, given the "nac" and "matri" for birth and marriage.

Latin is very useful despite is a "dead language".
