    Default Please Help!

I found in a document that I'm translating the following phrases:
    "thereunto appertaining"
    "In witness whereof"

The problem is that I can find a spanish equivalent.
The phrases are in a diploma.
    Thank you so much

Hi Jerry. "In witness whereof" is translated as "En fe de lo cual".
Now "thereunto appertaining": means "que aparecen en (dicho documento o registro etc). I would need more context to know what document it refers to, since previous to this sentence they must have mentioned certain file, records or documentation ( thereunto appertaining = appearing unto that document, file, records etc)

    Hope this helps

    "En fe de lo cual".

    en testimonio de lo cual.
I am not an expert at all on the field but I believe that both mean the same, at least in the legal field.
    According to RAE
    testimonio.
    (Del lat. testimonĭum).
    1. m. Atestación o aseveración de algo.
