et al.
How can I translate "et al." into Spanish? Should it remain the same or should I translate it as "y otros"?

Es una abreviación latina que significa et alii (masculino plural), "y otros," et aliae (feminino plural), "y otras" o et alia (neutral plural), "y otros."
No se suele traducir. Si te lo piden, ...y otros. ... y col. (y colaboradores)

"et al." is translated in Argentina, especially in the legal system.
e.g.: "AA c/ BB y otros s/ Daños y Perjuicios"  |

In the scientific field, the scientific essays are generally written by a group. Sometimes the groups are so big that it is written as "Fulano, Mengano, et al." understanding that Fulano is the head and director of the group.
We never translate the et al.
