Has anyone seen this term translated as “Contrato Marco”?  Thanks in advance

Yes my friend, I have heard the term and used it myself. My customers from Europe use it a lot. Don't know about U.S or U.K though...

Gracias Sandy Amiga. No sabía si el término "Contrato Marco" se utilizaba, me alegra poder confirmarlo contigo. Por otra parte permíteme felicitarse por tu internalización. Cuando puedas me das unos tips para ver si me convierto en materia de exportación. Tener clientes en Europa sería como un sueño para mi.

Bueno Hebe, la vdd es que mis clientes de Europa son de música...I wish!! Soy ejecutiva de ventas internacionales para un sello discografico y ellos compran la musica...claro que de vez en cuando aparece una traduccion pero no es lo usual... Solo puedo sugerirte que grabes un disco y entonces te lo comercializo...

Hola Affrei. un contrato marco es aquel que contiene las cláusulas y condiciones generales comunes a varios contartos. Por ejemplo La adminsitradora de un centro comercial normalmente prepara un contrato marco con base al cual se redactan todos los contratos de arrendamientos de cada local de dicho centro comercial, con cláusulas y condiciones generales comunes.

Another possibility would be "Contrato Modelo" or "Modelo de Contrato".

En lo personal... prefiero "Contrato Marco"... lo de "Modelo" me hace pensar que es un "magnífico" contrato...
