    Hello,

    I am from Madrid and I studied Business Studies in England.
    Please can you give me an advise about how to work as a translator for this?

    Hi,

    I want to start working as a translator, but I do not have any experience. But my english is very good and I have studied in England some years ago when I was doing my degree.

    And I would like to have any advice as for how to start working as a translator.

    ¡Qué bastardeada que está la profesión por Dios!

    Hoy en día cualquier persona que sabe un poquito de inglés se hace llamar traductor...

    Son años de estudio Susana, uno no se convierte en traductor de la noche a la mañana, aunque lamentablemente parece haber algunos que así lo piensan...

    I think that i have not explain well myself. I was asking for a way to start being a translator with the meaning of courses or studies that are the best.

    Te pido mil disculpas, estaba teniendo un mal día.

    Deberías ver si hay alguna universidad o terciario en tu ciudad que sea de Traductorado y sino hay podés buscar algún instituto de inglés y hacer cursos avanzados, rendir exámenes internacionales, etc. Lo que también podrías hacer es buscar por internet empresas o agencias que busquen traductores voluntarios para así poder ir ganando algo de experiencia.
