Default galloping inflation

Hola!
No se si será correcto decir inflación galopante. Hay algún otro término más apto para un texto que habla de finanzas?

Default I agree with both terms

but I like "galopante" more than "espectacular". There´s some kind of "positive" cognotation implied in "espectacular" in Argentina, even thought the term itself means both, negative or positive. We usually use "galopante" to refer to negative things like a terrible flu, we´d say "gripe galopante".

what about "inflación desenfrenada"?

cheers
